TOKYO - Sebuah inovasi desain baru ditampilkan pada handphone yang selama ini berbentuk persegi panjang. Desain handphone yang diberi nama Runcible mempunyai bentuk bulat alias lingkaran.

Seperti dilansir dari liliputing, Jumat (6/3/2015), produsen yang memproduksi handphone ini adalah Monohm memang sengaja mendesain unik agar mempunyai daya tarik tinggi. Seperti layaknya handphone lain perangkat ini juga dilengkapi dengan sistem operasi Firefox OS.

Selain itu Runcible ini bisa dipakai untuk browsing internet, panggilan suara, SMS, WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE atau kegunaan lainnya. Tapi, handphone ini tidak mengeluarkan suara ataupun bergetar pada saat ada panggilan atau pesan masuk.

Pada bagian belakangnya terdapat cover terbuat dari bahan kayu. Serta dilengkapi juga dengan sebuah kamera pada bagian belakangnya itu. Rencananya, provider telepon Jepang KDDI akan mulai memasarkannya pada tahun ini. Belum ada kabar harga pasti untuk produk ini.

Namun ponsel ini tidak akan mengeluarkan suara ataupun bergetar pada saat ada panggilan atau pesan masuk. Pun halnya pada saat memanfaatkan fitur navigasi yang ada di dalamnya. Alih-alih menampilkan peta, Runcible ini bakal mempunyai tampilan layar seperti halnya sebuah kompas.

A Fashion Expert Shares Her Thoughts on Apple Watch and Wearables

With an eye to style, aesthetics and fashion, I spoke with Christine Campbell, President of Crimson Mim, an independent women's boutique located in the heart of Silicon Valley. I have known Christine for a few years and serve on the advisory board of Crimson Mim. In general, fashion industry insiders are not happy with how the Apple Watch looks. Chander: What's your take on the state of wearable devices?
